The OSHA 30-hour construction courses (English only) are intended to provide workers who have safety responsibilities as part of their job duties with a greater understanding of hazards and requirements involved on the construction jobsite. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention.

  • The last day of this course is dedicated to safety leadership which involves listening and learning from others experiences.  Therefore, each student will have the opportunity to speak for 5 minutes about any workplace safety incident of their choice.  Send your optional accompanying photos or videos to by July 20, 2020 for proper upload to our system so that your part of the presentation can go smoothly.  We shall discuss the root cause and variety of possible solutions and outcomes after each student presentation.

  • Promotes safety culture through peer training.

  • Training is intended to be participatory, using hands-on activities.

  • Outreach training content includes hazard recognition and avoidance, workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint; it emphasizes the value of safety and health to workers, including young workers.
