Summary:

The OSHA 30-hour construction courses (Spanish only) are intended to provide workers who have safety responsibilities as part of their job duties with a greater understanding of hazards and requirements involved on the construction jobsite. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention.

  • Promotes safety culture through peer training;
  • Training is intended to be participatory, using hands-on activities;

  • Outreach training content includes hazard recognition and avoidance, workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint; it emphasizes the value of safety and health to workers, including young workers.
  • In order to attend, the student must understand and communicate in the language of the course.

Monday April 24 | 8:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday April 25  | 8:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday April 26 | 8:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Thursday April 27 | 8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Friday April 28 | 8:15 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
