Summary:

The OSHA 30-hour construction courses (English only) are intended to provide workers who have safety responsibilities as part of their job duties with a greater understanding of hazards and requirements involved on the construction jobsite. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention.

  • Promotes safety culture through peer training;

  • Training is intended to be participatory, using hands-on activities;

  • Outreach training content includes hazard recognition and avoidance, workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint; it emphasizes the value of safety and health to workers, including young workers.
  • In order to attend, the student must understand and communicate in the language of the course.

Starting time is at 8:15 a.m. | Length of topics and break schedule may vary.

Tuesday September 3 | 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Monday September 9  | 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Monday September 16 | 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Monday  September 23 | 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Tuesday September 24 | 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Please see the MAP on where to park when attending a class at this location.

  • Go in the entrance for Suite 100, which is on the west side.
  • Check in at the front desk.
  • Tell the receptionist you are taking the OSHA 30 class. Show your photo ID.
  • You will receive a badge to use for the day. You will have to return the badge at the end of the class each day.

When signing in to an OSHA class you will be asked to show a photo ID.
